Trust Administration Assistant – Reno


San Pasqual Fiduciary Trust Company is a California and Nevada-based trust company dedicated to providing trustee-only services. We do not sell investment products, which enables us to provide our clients with truly impartial fiduciary service. We devote our skills, expertise, and resources to trust administration and management. We are a growing firm located in Downtown Los Angeles, California and Reno, Nevada.

San Pasqual Trust’s trustee-only model allows for us to administer trusts that hold unique and complex assets beyond just cash and marketable securities. No two trusts are the same, and this keeps our work interesting and dynamic. Working at San Pasqual Trust, you will have the opportunity to assist in the management of trusts for high-net-worth families while gaining exposure to the various disciplines that intersect with trust administration, including estate planning, investment management, real estate management, insurance, taxation, and law.

We are seeking a career-oriented individual to join our client-facing Trust Professionals Team in Reno, NV for a full-time position as a Trust Administration Assistant.

Please note that this position has a HYBRID office/remote schedule. It is NOT 100% remote, and employees are expected to report to the Reno, NV office on a regular basis.

While entry-level job experience is desired, no prior knowledge of trust administration is required. However, a professional demeanor with interpersonal communication skills and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality is a must. You would work as part of a team, assisting with the administration of various trust accounts.

Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Complete various forms (Account set up, transfers, distributions, etc.).
  • Respond to client and vendor inquiries timely and thoughtfully.
  • Perform research and complete special projects as assigned.
  • Track missing information and resolve data discrepancies.
  • Assist with documentation of annual account reviews.
  • Accounts payable.
  • Review statements from external asset managers.
  • Statement production and review.
  • Coordinate with internal and external parties for filing of personal and fiduciary tax preparation.
  • Occasional off-site project assistance (Review beneficiary documents, inventory personal assets, meet with vendors, etc.).
  • Other duties as required.

Educational and Other Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (Provide unofficial transcript).
  • 1 year of work experience (may be any industry, but preferably in an office setting).

PLEASE NOTE that we are ONLY looking for local candidates. This position is NOT 100% remote and we do not pay for relocation services.

Hourly compensation is $22.50/hour – $25.00/hour. Some overtime typically available after completion of training period. Eligible for a raise and/or bonus during annual review based on job performance.
